ATHANASSIOU S.A. started off as a tobacco retail outlet at the center of Athens in 1928 under the name S. ATHANASSIOU & Co. Ever since, it followed a course that was critical for its future growth and establishment in the tobacco sector.
The success of the company is due to its ability to address the requirements of the partners it represents and the ability to correspond to market changes and trends promptly and reliably.
Its well-organised network of partners throughout Greece and its extensive know-how in sales, marketing and logistics are the two main factors that safeguard its continuous growth and long-term collaborations.
In 2028, we will celebrate our 100th anniversary as a 3rd generation family business.
Our vision is to be the most important imports and distribution company in tobacco products and one of the best in fast-moving consumer goods in the Greek market; to be the Preferred Partner for our clients and suppliers by offering profitable sales growth and high-quality standards of cooperation.
